Dad's Ten Golden Rules ...
The story goes that my dad and his dad were at lunch. The topic was how to find success in life and business. My grandfather suddenly and abruptly left the table. My dad sat there, wondering, for what seemed like a long time... Had he offended his dad? Was his pursuit of success a lost cause?
Suddenly his dad returned, carrying the only paper he could find in the restaurant... Some paper towel he had retrieved from the restroom. Pulling out his fountain pen, he wrote the words pictured here from memory. His recipe for success!
The paper towel is now framed in my office! Thanks Dad!

Book I Am Re-Reading
Leadership and Self-Deception - Getting Out of the Box by The Arbinger Institute.
This one stands out in my list of truly game-changing books. About five years ago it popped up as an Audible recommendation based on other titles I was listening to.
Check out this book and you'll learn what it means to "get into the box" of self -justification. Being in the box sabotages our relationships at work, at home, and can make any situation fragile and inconsistent.
With a way to clearly identify when we are "in the box", the book offers a sure-fire way to "get out of the box"... putting your leadership and your life on a path of true integrity and confidence!
