Lessons From a Seven Dollar Skateboard
Seven dollars was all it would take to become a cool skateboard rider. Or so I thought as I purchased my first skateboard from a discount department store. As it turned out, by the end of the first day with my new skateboard, I had bruises and scrapes on every limb of my body. I also came to the awful realization that I would not be riding my new skateboard beyond that first day. Yes, you read correctly … the first day!
